Job Description Summary
The System Analysis Chapter Lead is responsible for establishing, developing, and leading the organization’s system analysis practices. The System Analysis Chapter Lead oversees a community (chapter) of system analysts, defining standards, methodologies, and best practices while supporting analysts across product teams.
The role collaborates closely with product owners, UX designers, solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the System Analysis Chapter, including mentoring analysts, defining competency paths, and ensuring consistent high-quality analysis across teams.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve analysis standards, methods, and documentation practices.
• Support creation of scope (epics, user stories) in close collaboration with product owners, UX designers, developers and QA engineers.
• Support product teams by providing expertise in user stories analysis, system modelling, and solution scoping.
• Oversee requirements lifecycle management, including traceability, versioning, prioritization, and change control.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and cross-functional sessions to gather insights and align stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with product roadmap, solution architecture, service design, security, and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
Technical:
• Strong knowledge of epics/users stories engineering, including functional, non-functional.
• Expertise in system and process modelling techniques (UML, BPMN, use cases, user stories, sequence diagrams, etc.).
• Familiarity with integration concepts, APIs, messaging, data management and system interoperability principles.
• Experience with user stories management, documentation and modelling tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Miro, PlantUML, Figma).
• Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
• Advantage: experience with domain-driven design (DDD), business process optimization, service blueprints, or architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate).
• Advantage: knowledge of quality assurance processes, test case derivation, and acceptance criteria definition.
General:
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to decompose complex systems.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for both business and technical audiences.
• Ability to build consensus and drive clarity in ambiguous environments.
• Experience coordinating or leading analysis work across multiple teams.
• Ability to mentor and grow analytical competencies within the chapter.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
