Company Information & Job Details

About Kuoni Tumlare:

Kuoni Tumlare is B2B Destination Management company. For more than 100 years we manage mostly inbound travel to Europe for group travel, conferences & congresses, educational tours and many more. We also organize trips to Japan, but this is a separate team.

Long story short, what we do most is that we organize big volumes of trips for mostly Asian market travelers to Europe, cooperating with Agencies, not the end tourists. We take care of everything for them - the booking, customer support and of course the invoicing. Our team provides web portal for Restaurants, Hotels, Buses etc. here in Europe, mobile app for Tour Leaders who travel with tourists from Asia and web portal for Agencies in Asia to self manage their business with us.

About Kuoni Tumlare Digital Team:

At Kuoni Tumlare Digital Team, we deliver customer oriented solutions, that support our clients and colleagues in operating efficiently. Developing according to agile methodology our team brings new value to the market every two weeks. Impact we have on our global business is huge and instantly tangible - and we measure it in adoption, engagement and NPS. We design everything based on Human Centric Design approach. This means, we are in direct contact with recipients of our work, we know and understand our personas, journeys and value proposition canvases. Usually designers try to “sell” this to their stakeholders - not with us. We believe in strong qualitative research, not in quantitative interpretation of yesterday’s data. We look for real life problems to solve, not passively waiting for business requirements. Responsibility is big, but the reward in helping to create meaningful and real helping service is great. Being a part of traditional company with 100+ years of experience means, we have to take great care in managing the roll out of our work. B2B nature of our company is very different from working on B2C product with huge user base or a startup with no users at all - so we need to be always sure we know why and for who are we designing. Our mindset is very open, always looking for opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

For this role, we are looking for an experienced senior service oriented UX designer to take responsibility for growing our clients facing digital eco system. In close cooperation with Design Team Leader, your peers the Product Owner and Scrum Master and with guidance from Principal Designer, you will gradually build up your understanding of clients needs and transform it into fresh, usable and value driven digital solutions.

  • Has a secret crush for service design and understanding end to end processes. If you have any examples of service design, screen flows, diagrams or similar be sure to include them to your portfolio. • Has a friendly attitude and is open-minded to discuss design and solutions with people from different areas and professions

If you have instead cooperated with dedicated research professional, please describe this in your motivational letter.
  • Is quick with prototyping and testing, and doesn’t mind throwing away ideas that don’t work, even when they have been rolled out already. If you have any examples of your creative process from sketch, through errors to final results, we would be very interested to see those in your portfolio.
