Senior Operations Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Operations Coordinator to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong operations background who can independently manage complex group travel arrangements, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure seamless delivery of services from confirmation through tour completion.

The successful candidate will bring extensive tourism experience, strong destination knowledge, excellent supplier management skills, and the confidence to handle operational challenges in a fast-paced international environment. The role requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable handling complex itineraries, specialized travel programs, and high-profile groups while maintaining the highest service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end operations for group tours, ad hoc programs, and specialized travel arrangements.

Coordinate all destination services including hotels, transportation, guides, restaurants, attractions, and other ground services.

Build and maintain tours in internal operating systems.

Monitor tour budgets and maintain cost control throughout the operational process.

Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally, ensuring minimal impact on clients.

Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and sales teams.

Support the handling of technical visits, educational tours, and specialized travel projects.

Coordinate complex arrangements and customized requirements.

Support operational delivery of high-profile and VIP groups when required.

Contribute operational expertise and destination knowledge during the planning and quotation process.

To Succeed in This Role, You Should

Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the tourism industry.

Have previous experience within a DMC environment.

Demonstrate strong operational expertise and the ability to independently manage complex tours and groups.

Possess strong destination knowledge of Croatia and surrounding countries, including tourism infrastructure, routing, logistics, and supplier networks.

Have excellent supplier knowledge and proven experience in supplier relationship management.

Have experience handling multi-country itineraries and sophisticated travel arrangements.

Be comfortable working with specialized travel, and tailor-made programs.

Have strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Be able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Be fluent in Croatian and English (C1 level), both written and verbal.

Be proactive, solution-oriented, and highly customer focused.

Have excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
