About the Role


  • The role of Senior Group Travel Operations Coordinator will include delivering accurate confirmation of all destination services throughout trips and to provide constructive solutions to Sales Offices for any difficulties that may arise. Senior Operations Coordinators are requested to ensure proper execution of services with high quality of standard. They also constantly explore their destination knowledge to function as sales support in order to maintain existing business and promote new itineraries for future business. It is also the part of their responsibility to coordinate with Customer Service team to provide necessary follow-up to clients when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations and offers for potential new business
  • Carry out operational tasks for our product including processing rooming lists, building the tour in our operating system, customizing tours, and accessing special requests
  • Handle client communications and arrangements directly with partner agencies
  • Handling of tours
  • Manage total tour operation including itinerary check, book and confirm various services, and budget control
  • Types of tours vary from mass-production series tours to organized adhoc and specialized tours in different sizes
  • Check itineraries in details to make sure clear feasibility in timing and routing. Ensure service code/suppliers and conditions are corrected. Pay full attention about service/route availabilities depending on each seasonality
  • Conduct appropriate selection of suppliers suitable for the tour grade in quality and price.
  • Booking and delivering confirmation of local destination services efficiently and accurately
  • Provide clear and constructive suggestions and proposals to Sales for any critical services
  • Provide support to the business by gathering market trends, new products and local destination information as well as providing feedback and suggestions
  • Pre/Post season analysis, supplier quality review and new opportunities for future business to be discussed/conducted with coordination with Destination Management team and Contracting manager
  • Any other related duties, such as maintenance of master data and other administrative or co-ordination tasks as required
  • Provide support and work as a Customer Service agent when required

Job Requirements

To Succeed in the Role, You Should:


  • Have Associates degree in business, travel/tourism or related field
  • Have Travel industry market & culture understanding (essential)
  • Have Excellent written and verbal English skills (essential)
  • Computer literature – experience in working with Microsoft packages (desirable)
  • Have Ability to work under pressure and work independently
  • Be motivated and a team player with pro-active attitude
  • Have strong problem-solving and Creativity/innovation skills
  • Have communication and organizational skills
  • Be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to manage several different events in parallel
  • Willing to be flexible in the role
  • Be able to identify problems and take initiative to resolve them
  • Use commercial judgment on pricing and costing to maximize revenue and profit margin.
  • Maintain excellent partner/supplier relationships to secure the best possible supply rates and conditions (supplier management)

  • Occasionally support activities outside the core area of responsibility


We Are Looking for a Person With:


  • At least 4 years of working experience in the tourism sector
  • Excellent understanding of supply in Croatia and neighboring countries (essential)
  • Wide Destination knowledge (essential)
  • Ability to interact and contribute effectively with others in a team-based atmosphere
  • Ability to organize and manage simultaneous projects
  • Detail-orientation and timeliness
