YOUR ROLE
As a part of both the global and Hungarian Finance Team of Kuoni Tumlare and with various stakeholders in the organization, the Senior Accountant is responsible to support local business with in-depth financial information and analysis.
You will be responsible for raising potential financial, business, legal or other risks and opportunities, and you will have the opportunity to proactively shape a client-oriented and effective finance set up. Your suggestions for improvements and efficiency gains to the regional finance colleagues and local business heads will be an important contribution in this role.
YOUR TEAM
You will report into the Regional Head of Finance. You will form part of a wider Northern European international and diverse Finance team with close coordination with your finance colleagues in our Accounting and Finance Centre in St. Petersburg.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support processes related to O2C, R2R and P2P
Raise potential financial, business, legal or other risks and opportunities, suggestions for improvement proactively to regional finance functions and local business & function heads
Liaise with local authorities and advisors for legal and tax related matters
Participate and drive finance related projects
Support compliance with Local, Group and IFRS policies and legal requirements, statutory accounts and all tax matters across the operating systems
Support timely and accurate period close (monthly/ quarterly) and reporting
Liaise with St. Petersburg team provide the outsourced accounting services for the Hungary office to the agreed quality and timeliness
Support to local business by providing in-depth financial information and analysis
Support local cashflow (including timely collection of AR; cashbox management) and currency management
Job Requirements
TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE YOU SHOULD HAVE
Financial degree or equivalent, preferably an accounting certificate
2 – 4 years experience in a similar role, including very good understanding of the local regulations
Willingness and interest to learn and continuously develop, willingness to work in a highly international team
Hungarian, English language, Russian can be advantage
Experience in the similar industry due to VAT specialties is plus
Willingness to travel from time to time
