Job Description:

The role of the Travel Operations Coordinator will include updating and loading systems with data as well as dealing with our local offices abroad and our client's inquiries on the product.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotations and offers for potential new business
  • Create group itineraries and proofs for accuracy as well as audits bookings when tour changes occur
  • Develop outstanding sales opportunities to clients by creating and updating a personalized travel file for each account, including preferences in destination, departure cities, etc.
  • Complete administrative operational tasks for our product including processing rooming lists, building the tour in our operating system, customizing tours, and accessing special requests
  • Prepare invoices for our groups in different currencies and tracks when payment is received
  • Perform other tasks as requested

Job requirements

Skills / Abilities / Knowledge:

  • Interact and contribute effectively with others in a team-based atmosphere
  • Ability to organize and manage simultaneous projects with strong attention to timeliness and detail with limited supervision
  • PC skills including Microsoft Word, basic spreadsheet and database management. Familiar with Lotus Notes is an advantage
  • Associates degree in business, travel/tourism or related field and/or one to two years of related experience
