About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for generating business from Spain and Portugal market (and any other market agreed with GM), Strengthen loyalty among existing portfolio and develop the sales of active clients.

Key Activities

 

RFP Management (Major Part of the Role-70%)

  • Identify relevant RFPs, and analyse

  • Coordinate the full RFP process: data collection, pricing, documentation, compliance checks, and internal validations.

  • Draft, structure, and submit high-quality proposals within deadlines.

  • Follow up systematically with clients after submission to clarify requirements and improve win rates.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate, competitive, and feasible offers.

  • Analyse results, conduct debriefs, and propose improvements for future submissions.

 

Business development and Sales activities

  • Promote KuoniTumlare services in Spain and Portugal by making phone calls to new prospects, sales trip to enrich portfolio of active & potential clients, participating in travel workshops and fairs in Europe as agreed with GM

  • Provide reports to the General Manager after each sales trip, workshop, or fair attendance

  • Fill and keep updated the CRM database

  • Generate group and FIT business using KuoniTumlare network in Europe

  • Promote activities aimed to promote destinations as specified on the annual target/goals

  • Keep close communication with our local offices and make sure business is operated smoothly

  • Follow up on leads, pending quotes, and ongoing opportunities until contract closing.

 

Sales reports & administrative tasks

  • Ensure each confirmed group is fully prepaid in due time unless credit facilities exist

  • Prepare and follow up the contracting process

  • Ensure strict revenue control of the tours using company systems

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree qualified in Tourism and Travel Business

  • Good understanding of the travel industry and market requirements

  • Good technical skills in Microsoft Office – Word/Excel/PDF

  • Fluent English and Spanish

  • Very well organized, able to prioritize tasks

  • Ability to work under a lot of pressure from the clients

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with our destination offices

  • Team spirit, ability to work within a group

  • Commercially minded and Sales driven

  • Experience in Inbound Travel in Europe experience is an asset

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Working location, remotely but based in Spain is preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years as Sales Executive in the tourism industry

  • Experience in Inbound Travel in Europe is an asset

  • Knowledge of DMC business
