About the Function
Our Destination Management services form the core of our business. Together with our destination experts, our sales and account management teams generate business by partnering with our customers (Tour Operators, Travel Agencies) to shape exciting itineraries suited to their traveler’s needs. We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free.

About the Role

The Sales Assistant role supports sales accounts and sales managers in creating offers and operating tours in our operation system.

This is a temporary position for parental leave replacement. 


Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Sales activities

  • Assist sales managers with confirmed sales, and new requests
  • Write programs and update offers
  • Keep close communication with our local offices and make sure business is operated smoothly.

Sales reports & administrative tasks

  • Invoice tours correctly based on offers given
  • Ensure strict revenue control of the tours using company systems – DOS & BIS.

To Succeed in the Role, You Should Have:

  • Preferably have a started or finished degree qualified in Tourism and Travel Business.
  • Job evaluation experience.
  • Deep understanding of the travel industry and market situation.
  • Good knowledge of the tourism products in Scandinavia
  • Good technical skills in Microsoft Office – Word/Excel/PDF.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Fluent Norwegian language skills. 
  • Strong experience in Travel or Hotel Industry, international experience is an asset.

  • Very well organized, able to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work under a lot of pressure from the clients, and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Detailed oriented, capacity to check assistants work and tours in the systems.
