A bit about the Team:

Reporting to Sales Manager; the Sales/Account Executive will be responsible for promoting products and services to customers and negotiating contracts with the overall aim of maximizing sales revenue and profit. This role is the key point of contact between Kuoni Global Travel Services and our customers.

What we require for this role:

Our business is currently undergoing radical change in terms of its systems and operational processes. This role requires decision making, time management, self-motivation, leadership and excellent communication skills with attention to detail/accuracy, a ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to learn quickly.

We are looking for an experienced Sales account executive to join our B2B Sales team in Hanoi or HCMC. You will act as a liaison between our sales team and our travel agents, ensuring customer satisfaction.

As a Sales account executive, you should showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should also act proactively to address clients’ needs and facilitate the sale process from beginning to the end.

Ultimately, you must contribute to an increase in sales and maintain our company-agent relationships to a high standard.

Job requirements

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering queries, offering advice, and introducing new products and services to customers.
  • Managing existing accounts and business development activities to grow and exceed sales and margin targets.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients
  • Ensuring that a high standard of sales service is offered at all times in line with the client and our service-level agreements.
  • Using commercial judgment on pricing and costing to maximize revenue and profit margin.
  • Preparing and following up all contractual paperwork to ensure payment agreements are in place for every client as well as producing reports and meeting business deadlines.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance analytics
  • Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience


  • Proven work experience as a Sales account executive
  • Hands on experience with customer service
  • An ability to grasp client needs and to increase customer engagement
  • Solid knowledge of CRM software an MS office
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical and time-management skills

Qualification and Experience you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, Travel & Tourism or relevant field.
  • Be based in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City
  • Vietnamese speaking;
  • Have at least 3-5 years of Sales experience preferably from the following sectors: outbound travel; international airline or a B2B land operator;
  • Have excellent communication in written and spoken English to negotiate and present in English;
  • Have attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Be high performing and results focussed;
  • Have thorough planning and organisation skills;
  • Be customer focussed, highly motivated and a good team player.
