e are looking for a Project Manager to join our Congress Unit in Barcelona, focusing on the management of international housing congresses across Europe.


In this role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery, from initial client request through execution and financial closure. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams across Europe to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.


You will play a key role in managing client relationships, coordinating operational activities, and supporting business growth within the congress housing segment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing housing congress projects from acquisition to delivery

  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

  • Coordinating operational aspects of congress execution

  • Selecting and negotiating with suppliers and partners

  • Collaborating with international congress teams across Europe

  • Supporting business development and sales initiatives

  • Ensuring accurate financial management, invoicing, and reporting

  • Maintaining strong relationships with convention bureaus and congress centers

Job Requirements

  • Degree or relevant education in Tourism, Events, or Congress Management

  • Proven experience in congress, events, or PCO (Professional Congress Organizer) environments

  • Strong knowledge of the congress and association industry

  • Hands-on experience with EventsAir (mandatory or highly valued)

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel

  • Experience working with front-office or back-office systems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent in English (mandatory) and at least one additional European language
