e are looking for a Project Manager to join our Congress Unit in Barcelona, focusing on the management of international housing congresses across Europe.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery, from initial client request through execution and financial closure. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams across Europe to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
You will play a key role in managing client relationships, coordinating operational activities, and supporting business growth within the congress housing segment.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing housing congress projects from acquisition to delivery
Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinating operational aspects of congress execution
Selecting and negotiating with suppliers and partners
Collaborating with international congress teams across Europe
Supporting business development and sales initiatives
Ensuring accurate financial management, invoicing, and reporting
Maintaining strong relationships with convention bureaus and congress centers
Job Requirements
Degree or relevant education in Tourism, Events, or Congress Management
Proven experience in congress, events, or PCO (Professional Congress Organizer) environments
Strong knowledge of the congress and association industry
Hands-on experience with EventsAir (mandatory or highly valued)
Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
Experience working with front-office or back-office systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English (mandatory) and at least one additional European language
