Job profile

As Procurement Coordinator Hotel, you are responsible for the largely administrative tasks attached to the procurement team within the said Region. This includes liaising with all Procurement Managers to centralise responses for certain tasks – which will include PSR quotation responses, accounts resolution with hotels, collecting information for sales, presentations and so on.

You must be very organised by nature, and should speak both English and German!

Reporting structures and key relationships

As Procurement Coordinator Hotel, you will:

  • Report to the Regional Procurement Manager Hotel
  • Align with and support the Procurement Managers responsible for hotels in your destinations
  • Further build and maintain good internal relationships with a broad range of stakeholders in Procurement, Reservation, Sales and Operations

Key activities

  • Support Procurement with key administrative tasks – PSR consolidation, accounts issues investigation and reconciliation, centralise certain key tasks for sales wihin the region eg City Tax and fair files, coordinate guideline rates collection…
  • Be the link between procurement in your region and accounts, sales and reservations for the above mentioned tasks
  • Promote use of our internal SupplierNet and e-billing tools among suppliers within the region

Job requirements

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Demonstrable experience in the hospitality or travel industry, ideally within the procurement division
  • Strong communication skills (written / spoken) in English & German (and local language of your destinations) at business level
  • Proven ability to
    • work effectively in a fast-moving organization, achieving objectives through personal leadership
  • successfully drive a strategic plan in a fast paced, dynamic/turnaround environment
  • effectively build relationships at senior levels and manage external as well as internal resources
  • Strong delivery focus and a proven track record of implementing workable solutions
  • IT proficiency including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
