About the Role:

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for MICE and a deep understanding of the Central & Eastern European market? We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of MICE – CEE to lead our regional MICE operations, drive business growth, and ensure seamless event delivery across multiple markets.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of MICE experiences in the CEE region with a company renowned for delivering exceptional service to global clients. This role will provide leadership to the local team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Inspire: Manage and develop MICE teams across CEE (incl. Prague, Budapest, Bratislava)

• Strategic Development: Design and implement the regional MICE strategy aligned with company goals

• Business Growth: Drive revenue through new business acquisition, key account development, and long-term client relationships

• Operational Excellence: Oversee event execution to ensure quality, innovation, and consistency across all destinations

• P&L Ownership: Monitor budgets, profitability, and financial performance of the regional MICE portfolio

• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, customer behavior, and emerging destinations in the CEE region

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of progressive experience in MICE, with at least 4 years in a regional or leadership role

• Strong market knowledge of CEE destinations, suppliers, and client expectations

• Proven success in team leadership, client negotiations, and revenue generation

• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and profitability

• Excellent communication in English (additional CEE languages an advantage - ideally French, Spanish or Italian)

• Willingness to travel within the region (cca 30%)
