About the Business

Our Destination Management services form the core of our business. Together with our destination experts, our sales and account management teams generate business by partnering with our customers (Tour Operators, Travel Agencies) to shape exciting itineraries suited to their traveler’s needs. We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free.

About the Role

We are currently offering in JTB Italy srl, based in Rome, an internship experience in the MICE department.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Project managers during creation, plan and deliver of events for a variety of foreign clients across the year

• Proposal creation with a fresh eye for new types of presentations and tools

• Support during logistics operations and bookings including accommodation and all land arrangements throughout full domestic territory

• Venue searching

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

• A passion for tourism and event industry

• A natural curiosity for the hospitality environment and the passion to share her/his enthusiasm & knowledge

• Good written and verbal communication skills  

• The ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex environment

• The will to learn and grow along and with a market leading company

Essential requirements:

• Fluent in English. Written and verbal language skills are essential. Fluency in other languages is a plus

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Residence or Domicile in Rome or Latium Region

Internship reimbursement as per Latium Region regulations (€800 gross per month).
