About the Role
For our office in Prague we are looking for an HR Specialist to act as an effective generalist HR support for all Managers and Employees in Czech Republic with extended support to Eastern Europe countries (Poland, Croatia, Hungary) and payroll integration,.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain an efficient recruitment process according to department needs
Advertise open roles and manage in our ATS
Manage recruitment processes where relevant (CV selection, phone screens, interview coordination with dept. managers, job offer confirmation, new employee preparations etc.)
Conduct the onboarding training for all newcomers
Deliver high quality, detailed HR documentation as required (employee contracts, contract amendments, employment declaration etc.)
Manage all employee’s electronic and paper files and upload contracts and personal documents to their Workday personal file
Undertake all administration tasks relevant to HR on Workday
Manage the delivery of accurate payroll, ensuring updates are made in regards to salary changes, redundancies and leavers.
Check the time off administration and make any required adjustments
Provide support to the HR Manager with projects and HR policies
Provide support to employees & managers on employee lifecycle activities
Organize occupational health and safety
Provide advice, guidance and coaching to manager on employee relation matters. Proactively identify and resolve issues.
Manage Employee Life Cycle Experience
Organize Employee Engagement activities
Job Requirements
We Are Looking for a Person With:
Strong HR Recruitment and Admin experiences in a fast-paced commercial environment, ideally gained within the travel or retail sector
HR local qualification or significant relevant experience within HR Generalist role
Strong recruitment skills
A solid understanding and working experience of employment law in CZ
Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously
Positive, “can do”, flexible attitude
Experience of working in a matrix environment
Experience working with an HR Information System, experience with Workday is an advantage
Intercultural competence as well as fluency in Czech and English
Ability to work accurately while under pressure to achieve multiple deadlines
Effective people management decision making in line with commercial priorities, policies and relevant law.
Attention to detail essential, to ensure thoroughness and accuracy at all times
Good personal organisational skills
Excellent inter-personal skills
Self-motivator with the ability to use one’s own initiative
Ability to work as part of a team
HRIS system Workday knowledge is desirable
