YOUR ROLE

As an HR Generalist, you are providing professional and efficient HR support to our 70 employees and managers based in Switzerland (Zurich and Geneva).


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support for all HR processes throughout the employee life cycle (from entry to exit)
  • Provide timely and accurate advice and guidance to managers and employees on a variety of HR issues including HR policy and practice, employment legislation, grievance/ disciplinary/ absence/ performance management, maternity/ paternity & flexible working arrangements, exit interviews, etc.
  • Execute monthly payroll for employees including expatriates in collaboration with external payroll provider – documents preparation, payout check, booking file check and accounting reconciliation
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities for HR to partner with the business and provide suggestions on HR initiatives
  • Act as a HRIS (Workday and Recruitee) Champion for Switzerland regarding all system development issues, training for managers, absenteeism management and provide reports to the Regional Head of HR
  • Assist with the co-ordination and administration of annual salary review, bonus and sales incentive plans. Support the Regional Head of HR on other Compensation and Benefits (C&B) initiatives.
  • Lead and deliver local and global HR projects and organize staff events and initiatives (Christmas party, summer party, People Deal events etc.)
  • Pro-actively assist in the identification of learning and development needs and partner with the Learning and Development Team, Regional Head of HR and business stakeholders to establish and implement solutions.
  • Together with the respective line manager define and execute suitable recruitment strategies for each new open position in order to attract, recruit and retain the right talent
  • Expatriates administration - support for expatriates coming to Switzerland including trainees

Job requirements

TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Commercial apprentice (KV) and further education in HR and / or Labor relations
  • Fluent in German, working English, French is a plus
  • Sound knowledge of Swiss employment law
  • Experience with payroll preparation and execution as well as social security subject is a must
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic turnaround environment
  • Profound MS-Office knowledge; HRM system knowledge (Workday)
