About the Function
Our Destination Management services form the core of our business. We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travellers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free.


About the Role

To support sales offices by confirming primarily accommodation, but in addition other destination services within the agreed specifications (budget, quality etc.) and SLA while ensuring that maximum profit is obtained through the long and short term (re)negotiation of confirmed rates. This needs to be done with strong commitment to the company and its policies.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Day to day activities:

  • Ensure the delivery of high-level service to the group’s Sales teams, confirming reservations within deadline and maximizing profit via the booking system.

  • Ensure daily priorities are cleared each day.

  • Ensure timely and accurate system update for all bookings.

  • Ensure that all operations are done according to the procedures, policies and strategies set by the management.

  • Ensure that hotel and other service complaints and problems are dealt with efficiency.

  • Ensure good and professional communication between the departments and with suppliers.

  • Prioritize business to properties according to procurement strategies – hotels with partner agreement and group allotment (ensuring efficient allotment usage) and destination services with partner agreements for each supplier

  • Prepare sales and promotion material for destination sales and promotion

Negotiation for each single service to optimize profit:

  • Maximization of profit both at initial booking stage and renegotiation until arrival in order to ensure the best possible results.

  • (Re)negotiate rates, supplements, free pax policy, prepayments, and cancellation policy.

  • Thinking pro-actively, always offering alternatives to Sales

  • Avoid strict conditions, i.e. prepayments or cancellation conditions for non-contracted hotels or other destination services, by negotiating the best possible conditions

Sales support & commercial awareness:

  • Coordinate with Sales offices regarding requirements of group bookings.

  • Anticipate upcoming challenges to Sales and propose alternatives through sound professional advice when confirming group or offering solutions to problem bookings.

  • Must build and share commercial awareness, both of the hotel and destination product within territory and the needs of the diverse range of source markets to be equipped to pass their knowledge on to Sales teams

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and preferred partners.

To Succeed in the Role, You Should Have:

  • Professional hotel and tourism qualification or working experience in the travel or hotel industry.

  • Fluency in English and one of the local languages - Estonian, Latvian or Lithuanian

  • Ability to communicate on all levels and in a multi-cultural environment.

  • Excellent pro-active and ongoing problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work within high-pressured environment.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize and qualify work.

  • Proven ability to negotiate.

  • Knowledge in Excel, PPT and office package
