About the Business

About the Role

As Specialist Tour Coordinator, you manage the full life cycle of Specialist Tours including MICE, technical visits and direct sales in Germany and Austria. You deliver a first class handling with a strong focus on revenue, customer satisfaction, and high quality. 

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate specialist tours across Germany and Austria
  • End to end handling including quotation support, itinerary preparation and itinerary check
  • Tour planning including revenue control and efficient supplier choosing
  • Sourcing venues according to client requirements, destination specifics and budget
  • Create new products and bring novelty and creativity in the offer
  • Prepare and confirm bookings for all ground services supplier categories, including special arrangements for incentive tours such as gala dinners and team building activities.
  • Attend inspections & client meetings and provide onsite support for key MICE groups where necessary, upselling extra services and products
  • Technical visit request handling, and building/maintaining internal database of projects and contacts
  • Source high end/niche products, negotiate & collect rebates and commissions
  • Process and confirm critical services efficiently and accurately, paying attention to any special requirements of the clients.
  • Investigate and resolve service complaints

We Are Looking for a Person With:

  • Experience in the MICE / hospitality industry, ground handling operations of advantage
  • Destination knowledge of Germany and Austria
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Knowledge of source markets (Asian, European or American) of advantage.
