About the Role
To deliver high quality service and support for all groups visiting UK, Ireland and Benelux regions by supporting with land service quotations to our global sales teams, building strong relationships with suppliers, helping with promotions and project work and supporting our Procurement Managers.
This role is full time and offers hybrid working. Office attendance is required 2 days a week: Tuesday and Wednesdays. Our office is based in Aldgate, London.
Key Responsibilities
Work on tour quotations for our destinations.
Checking itineraries and services quoted by sales teams to ensure feasibility and making suggestions where necessary to maximize contribution to margin.
Researching activities and touring ideas for our destinations.
Communicating with our suppliers for accurate costings.
Undertake project work as required by management.
Handle contract loading on the relevant operating systems.
Complete any rate collection/negotiation activities requested your Manager.
Provide active and ongoing support and knowledge transfer to the company’s sales organisation.
Pre/Post season analysis and recommendations
Assist in building a network of key relationships within your destination, including suppliers, local and national tourist boards/agencies.
Upselling and distribution of new destination itineraries and activities.
Support and promote our destinations to our global sales teams.
Communicate destination updates to the business within a timely manner.
Job Requirements
To Succeed in the Role, You Should Have:
Sound commercial mind and be sales driven
Proven ability to build strong relationships
Good English oral and written communication skills
Entrepreneurial and creative approach.
Destination expertise (good knowledge of UK, Ireland or Benelux regions preferred)
Excellent at multitasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
