About the Business / Function


Our Destination Management services form the core of our business. Together with our destination experts, our sales teams generate business and shape itineraries suited to our customers’ needs with real-time insider knowledge. We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free.

About the Role


Candidates should come from a travel agency, event agency or a DMC Company and have worked with a wide variety of clients previously. Ideally, we are looking for someone very connected within the industry and with an excellent destination knowledge of Czech Republic and Slovakia.

  • Provide active and ongoing support and knowledge transfer to the Company’s sales organisation
  • Destination information handling and communication with other parts of the business
  • Creation and ongoing support of your destination marketing toolkit, through tools and unique selling points for the end clients and for Sales to use
  • Coordinate destination strategy discussions with sales and procurement
  • Upselling and distribution of new destination itineraries and activities.
  • Pre/Post season analysis and recommendations
  • Checking itineraries and services quoted by sales to ensure feasibility and making suggestions where necessary to maximize contribution to margin
  • Complete any rate collection/negotiation activities requested your Manager/Supervisor.
  • Assist in building a network of key relationships within your destination
  • Participate in program development for MICE clients and others with focus on educational programs, technical visits, sustainability and social responsibility
  • Join and lead Inspections & Client meetings
  • Supplier management & procurement support to maximize value creation
  • Investigate and resolve service complaints
  • Deliver on teams agreed SLA’s
  • Comply with company standards and use all in-house IT tools effectively
  • Undertake project work as required by management



Job Requirements

To Succeed in the Role, You should have :

  • Creativity, out-of-the-box thinking ability, proactive approach
  • Highly detail orientated, able to keep deadlines and work under pressure
  • The ability to identify problems and take initiative to resolve them
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex environment
  • The ability to run number of different projects in parallel
  • Good presentation skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Programs (Excels, PowerPoint, Outlook mainly)
  • Previous experience/working in DMC or MICE industry for at least 3 years
  • Excellent Knowledge of the destination – Czech Republic & Slovakia
  • Fluent in Czech or Slovak and English. Written and verbal language skills are essential
