YOUR ROLE

We are currently recruiting a Destination Coordinator in Prague, Czech Republic

The candidate will be responsible for managing meetings, events and incentive tours for international clients to the Czech Republic and surrounding countries. Candidates should come from a travel agency, event agency or a DMC Company and have worked with a wide variety of clients previously. We would prefer the incumbent to be from the travel industry with excellent destination knowledge of Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project management end-to-end (create, check, plan and deliver events, incl. quotation and optimization)
  • Onsite management of the events
  • Join and lead Inspections & Client meetings
  • Supplier management & procurement support to maximize value creation
  • Coordinate destination strategy discussions with sales and procurement
  • Checking itineraries and services quoted by sales to ensure feasibility and making suggestions where necessary to maximize contribution to margin
  • Upselling and distribution of new destination itineraries and activities.
  • Participate in program development for clients, with focus on educational programs, technical visits, sustainability and social responsibility.
  • Support local marketing activities aimed towards company visibility. 
  • Educate and share expert knowledge with Sales Teams, to aid their sales pitch.

  • Must possess excellent destination knowledge of Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary
  • Language skills - Must be fluent in Czech and English. Knowledge of an additional European language would be preferred

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the travel/ MICE industry
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer focused, with a confident and polite attitude
  • Knowledge of MS Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
