Client Relation Executive Spain

Job description

Reports to the Client Relation Manager. External relationships with senior executives at major clients, regulatory bodies, associations &congress organizers, trade bodies & media. In addition close contact with both Head of Congress, Innovation Manager, piers in Europe and the Country Congress teamleaders.

Key activities:

Continuously develop, implement and execute the overall sales strategy and guiding principles to deliver profitable growth

throughout the area of responsibility l Develop and maintain strong partnership and interface at senior levels with external clients of substantial throughout the area of responsibility, represent the organisation externally when required 

* Monitorear la actividad del mercado y la competencia, identificar áreas de crecimiento e impulsar el crecimiento expandiéndose a nuevos mercados y segmentos

l Monitor market and competitor activity, identifying growth areas and drive growth by expanding into new markets and segments l Put processes in place to ensure a high effectiveness ensuring high performance culture is installed and continuously improved

l Proactively identify business risks and act promptly to mitigate them/minimise their impact

Actively supports the integration of sustainability into the division’s workflow, providing feedback to the Sustainability Managerwhere necessary.
*Demonstrate and promote thought leadership through displaying and sharing knowledge, expertise and coaching/mentoring

Ensure all business activities comply with relevant financial, industry compliance, legislative, legal demands and ethicalstandards of the organisation

l Responsible for the pro-active association marked development of the area of responsibilityl Responsible for planning, coordination and performing sales activities for the assigned area
l Implements strategies and guiding principles with regards to congress sales
l Develops source market knowledge and expertise
l Develops clients lists
l Manages sales resource allocation within the area of responsibility
l Drives sales and GOP growth
l Responsible for client relationship management, competitor analysis and improving sales quality within the area of responsibility
l Assures optimized and accurate CRM management throughout the organisation
l Executes congress industry related market research

Job requirements

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Strong influencing, presentation and communication skills
  • Understanding and translating the complexity of our business proposition for our clients
  • Excellent sales track record accompanied with strong association sales skills and PCO competencies
  • In-depth industry knowledge within the areas of housing exhibition & professional congress organisation
  • Proven ability to effectively build relationships at executive levels and manage external as well as internal resources
  • High level IT literature in particular with the area of congress management
  • Experience of working at a senior sales level
  • Extensive experience and commercial knowledge of the congress association environment, key competitors, industry issues and related technology
  • Strong delivery focus and a proven track record of devising and implementing common sense, pragmatic solutions
  • Profound strategic and implementation & contribution capabilities
