The Job:
To support Kuoni Tumlare in global IT projects and development requests, which are conducted across multiple teams and locations. The Business Analyst will work on both web-based and internal legacy applications, ensuring accurate delivery under pressure and tight deadlines. The role is pivotal in bridging business needs with technical solutions, particularly within agile development environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product owners
Translate business needs into tangible, prioritized user stories and requirements, using agile methodologies when needed
Contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Lead workshops and challenge business units on their input and assumptions to refine deliverables.
Support the business in preparing and executing user acceptance tests (UAT) and follow up on issue resolution.
Maintain and manage product backlogs in tools like JIRA, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Establish mutual trust and work closely with project workstreams & representatives from the group’s business.
Collaborate with other BA’s, the developers and testers to ensure feasibility and implementation.
Working in both web-based applications and legacy systems, the role requires the ability to work accurately whilst under pressure to achieve deadlines.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
3+ years of previous experience in a BA role
Proven experience working within agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Strong understanding of business process design, requirements gathering, and application architecture.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with the ability to frame problems and solutions quickly.
Cultural awareness, inclusivity, and a cooperative attitude to build credibility and maintain relationships.
Flexibility and resilience under pressure, with effective work planning and prioritization skills.
