Role Overview

To support Kuoni Tumlare in global IT projects and development requests, which are conducted across multiple teams and locations. Support the business by gathering requirements and translating them into features/stories that enable the business leadership to prioritize and development teams to implement them accordingly and successfully achieve the goals of the release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align and translate business needs into tangible business requirements, document implications, issues (qualifying financial impacts of various scenarios) and liaise with development to deliver insightful and innovative solutions.

  • Describe business processes and facilitate suggestions for altered/new processes, support and lead workshops, and challenge business units on their input and assumptions.

  • Document comprehensive specifications, business rules and data structures necessary for the development process.

  • Design functionality and user interfaces in conjunction with development teams.

  • ·Support or run backlog grooming and planning session.

    • Support the business in preparing user acceptance tests and follow up on test execution and issues.

  • Support testing where needed.

  • Communicate planned deployments via release notes to business units.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of previous experience in a BA role

  • Strong understanding of business processes design and requirements gathering

  • Strong understanding of the concept of application architecture, operations systems, and interfaces

  • Travel industry knowledge is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, freely navigate in Excel and use at advanced level.

  • Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential as well as the ability to frame problems and solutions quickly and concisely in a consensus driven environment.

  • Interest in and ability to moderate discussions, draw attention to issues, support people to reach agreement.

  • Drive and resilience even when acting under pressure, willing and able to deliver results in due time.

  • Cultural awareness, inclusivity, constructive contribution and cooperative attitude are crucial in to build credibility and maintain relationships.

  • Flexibility in day-to-day work and effective work planning are crucial.
