The Job:

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team and help us elevate the quality of our products to the next level. We’re seeking someone who understands modern web technologies, has strong technical and automation skills, and is deeply passionate about quality, reliability, and efficiency.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies, creating and maintaining automated test suites, and working closely with the development team in an agile environment

• Design, implement, and maintain test strategies for web applications and APIs

• Create and manage automated tests (UI, API, integration, end-to-end)

• Work with Playwright or Cypress (and other modern automation tools)

• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve test quality and reliability

• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues

• Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams within an agile (Scrum/Kanban) process

• Ensure that test environments, data, and processes accurately reflect production conditions

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines from a quality and automation perspective

• Actively identify opportunities to optimize testing processes and improve efficiency

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, ideally in a web-based environment

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress

• Experience testing REST APIs and databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

• Good command of Linux environments (CLI, bash, logs, scripting)

• Proficiency with Git and understanding of branching, pull requests, and code review processes

• Familiarity with agile development principles, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a quality-first mindset

• Self-driven, proactive, and able to take ownership of product quality

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

 Nice to Have:

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, or Vitest

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, OpenSearch)

• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers or sharing QA best practices within a team
