About the Role:

MICE specialists are professionals who assist clients in planning, contracting, organizing, and executing various events. They act as the primary point of contact, providing personalized end-to-end solutions and ensuring the smooth operation of events and great quality of relationships with clients.

As a MICE Sales professional, you will be responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of MICE events. This role requires a deep understanding of the event management industry and a strong ability to translate client requirements into exceptional event solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and prospect potential clients within the MICE industry.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.

• Conduct detailed needs assessments and provide tailored MICE solutions.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful event delivery.

• Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.

• Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.

• Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients.

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any client issues.

• Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

• Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.

• Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue.

• Responds to group RFPs through making proposals and sales presentation to prospective clients as well as explain, negotiate and close hotel sales.

• Accurate data entry of group and meeting enquiries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.

• Proven track record in sales, preferably within the MICE industry.

• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Ability to understand client needs and deliver customized solutions.

• Highly organized with strong project management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

• Positive attitude and good communication skills

• Strong sales background in MICE. Self-motivated salesperson.

• Strong analytical skills to understand and respond to key business indicators and competitive trends
